I’ve been playing guitar for over twenty-five years and recording music for almost as long. What started as a love for riffs and tone has become a lifelong pursuit of making sound feel like something.

For nearly a decade, I worked in video production, filming, editing, and shaping stories for brands and organizations. That experience changed how I think about music. I stopped hearing it as just songs and started hearing it as part of a story—the way sound can carry emotion, define a space, or change how a moment lands.

These days my focus is back where it began: guitars, tone, and the creative process of shaping sound to serve story. I write and produce everything from heavy, guitar-driven rock to more cinematic and ambient pieces—music made to support visual storytelling and work for editors right out of the gate. I also create tools like Line 6 Helix and POD Go presets and impulse responses to help other musicians and composers get to great tone faster.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually with my wife and our dogs or spending time with my two sons, who are both budding musicians themselves. Family means everything to me, and watching their creativity take shape has been one of the best parts of this journey.

Outside of music, I’m a huge basketball fan, and I like working with my hands—maintaining instruments, fixing gear, and generally keeping things running. Lately I’ve been putting more energy into my health, walking as much as I can and trying to keep both body and mind in tune.

Photography and cinematography are still a big part of my creative life. I shoot and edit all of my own photos, videos, and web content, though I’ve been lucky to collaborate with friends who’ve helped shape my visual identity along the way.

No matter what I’m working on—music, visuals, or just keeping a guitar alive—it all comes from the same place: curiosity, emotion, and the drive to make something honest.
